Up for sale is a very large antique handmade French hand painted lacquered vase style lamp.
It's completely made by hand with a gorgeous silhouette and mounted to a routed carved wooden base.
The vase is painted by hand with elaborate scenes on each side embellished with ornate hand laid gold gilded design.
One scene depicts boaters on a coastline with a bridge and mountains in the background and a detailed botanical scene on the opposite side.
It has a brass electric cluster with pivoting ball jointed sockets that have on/off pull chains on each and is also topped with a lovely brass finial.
The lamp has a crackling to the finish, is in nice condition with normal ware, and measures 34 inches tall by 9 1/2 inches wide.
It just has a small loss to the top of the base as seen in last photo.
