The Swiss architect and designer Jacob Müller (1905-1998) is one of the most important designers of the post-war period. A trained carpenter, Müller placed great value on excellent craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and the versatility of an object. All these requirements are embodied in Jacob Müller's "Pillar Shelf" from 1962. It is made of plywood with a fine mahogany veneer and elegant brass handles. Thanks to its open back panel, the "Pillar Shelf" (also known as "Campanile") can be placed freely in the room. Shelves and drawers can be easily repositioned without tools. It is designed to be mounted horizontally to the wall, thus serving as an elegant wall shelf. Manufactured by Wohnhilfe. A professional restorer has carefully sanded, re-stained, and freshly lacquered all parts. No signs of wear are visible. Height 206 cm. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
