Up for sale is an extremely rare pair of high quality hand carved original Carl Anderson Hallsthammar sculptures.
These wonderful pieces of Folk Art were done early mid 20th century and signed by the artist on the bottom of each.
Almost all of his pieces are now in museums around the world and rarely come to market.
They are guaranteed original and in wonderful condition.
the male and female figures are completely sculpted by hand out of solid blocks of wood and painted with rich color.
The expressions and gestures are superbly done and very charming.
Hallsthammar was known for his tremendous ability of capturing elegant personalities in his sculpture.
They each measure 10 inches tall by 4 inches wide and in great condition.
