This torchiere floor lamp was forged by J.R. Palmenberg & Sons in Philadelphia in the early 20th-century, almost certainly in the ~1920s. It features fluid Art Deco styling throughout the glass shade and the base of the lamp. It is fitted with a ceramic mogul bulb fixture and comes with an adapter to convert it to a standard fixture (The photos above feature a standard lightbulb).
I've owned this lamp for nearly a decade; a new fixture was installed, along with a new cord. The lamp is weighty considering it has a cast iron base. It is a beautiful piece and a fine, authentic specimen of a style that was popular a century ago.
