Mid-1970s German/Belgian coffee table with hand-painted ceramic tile top and metal frame.
Modern brutalist style with three geometric radial patterns in gray, green, white, and bronze tones.
Condition: Extremely solid construction, no wobbling, weight is approx. 50-60 lbs. All tiles intact, no loose pieces. Small hairline surface crack in lower right corner tile - see photo.
Metal frame in excellent condition. Maker's mark/signature is visible on tile corner.

Metal frame: 7/8" x 7/8".
Ideal in front of a loveseat/2-seater sofa or used as a standalone accent piece.
Rare find in US market. Purchased in 2015 from NYC antique dealer.
Exact provenance unknown but consistent with 1970s German/Belgian ceramic tile work.
Used in a smoke-free, pet-free, and bug-free home.
