A rare and highly decorative American Majolica tea service retailed by Tiffany & Co., featuring the celebrated “Blackberries” pattern, produced in the late 19th century. The set includes a teapot, covered sugar bowl, and cream jug, each finely modeled with basket-weave texture, naturalistic blackberry clusters in deep cobalt blue, and lush green foliage, with branch-form handles and sculptural loop finials.
The rich yellow ground glaze and high-relief molding exemplify the finest Victorian Majolica production and reflect the Aesthetic and early Art Nouveau movements. Particularly notable is the survival of the original Tiffany & Co. presentation box, an exceptionally rare feature that greatly enhances both historical importance and collector value.
