Beautiful 18th-century Swedish etchings, hand colored, that depict historic architectural and pastoral scenes. These artworks are framed behind archival glass, which protects the antique prints from discoloration. They have period-appropriate burl wood frames with French matting (two thin lines around the art, drawn onto the mat) that highlights the art.
The top artwork is a pastoral scene with people in the foreground, a lake with ships in the background and a town seen from afar. The bottom artwork depicts a large stately house, manicured gardens and ships on a body of water. — and a small church in the background.
Please note that while the frames are the exact same dimensions, and sold as a set, the artworks themselves are slightly different dimensions. The bottom artwork, with the large house, is slightly less wide than the top.
