Scandinavian oak sideboard, model "Tokyo," designed by Ingvar Sandström for Nordiska Kompaniet, made in Sweden with original label.
Scandinavian oak sideboard, model "Tokyo," designed by Ingvar Sandström for Nordiska Kompaniet and produced at NK:s Verkstäder in Nyköping, as attested by the original label. Dating from the late 1950s or early 1960s, it features a balanced composition with doors and a row of drawers, turned wooden handles, and brass-detailed latches. The trestle legs lend a light, architectural character, reflecting the understated elegance of mid-century Nordic modernism.
Good condition. May show signs of age. Please refer to the photographs carefully. This piece has an attribution mark,
