- a framer's label: "maison léon smalle - encadrements - articles d'art - rue des pierres, 28 - *bruges*"
- a label bearing the name of the portrait's wife, which is the same as that of the framer: "rené brondel, born in bruges on august 24, 1898, husband of eugénie smalle"
framed dimensions: 52 x 63 x 5 cm
canvas dimensions: 40 x 50 x 2 cm this piece has an attribution mark,
i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
