"Fuoco" Lamp – Gaetano Pesce for Meritalia
The iconic Fuoco table lamp, designed by Gaetano Pesce and produced by Meritalia, is one of the most recognizable pieces of radical Italian design from the 1990s.
The lamp is made of colored polyurethane resin, molded to evoke a stylized flame that seems to emerge and "melt" into space. The irregular, textured surface is characteristic of Pesce's style, which combines sculpture, design, and industrial experimentation in a single object.
