These distinctive chairs originate from a ceramic artist’s workshop located east of the Swedish coastal town of Trelleborg. They were crafted by a local Swedish cabinetmaker in the nearby town of Anderslöv during the 1930s.

The chairs feature a sturdy construction combined with a remarkably contemporary expression, characterized by a playful sculptural curved backrests reminiscent of Jean Royère.

All chairs display a beautiful, well-developed patina, and the pinewood has acquired a warm golden glow through nearly 100 years of use.

Vintage condition, with wear consistent with age and use.
Chairs has been given a new coat of oil.
