The circular top features an inlay in the center depicting a country scene with figures, made from a variety of fine woods. Underneath the top is a chessboard, also made from contrasting woods. The band under the top is embellished with geometric inlay work and incorporates two drawers and two small writing desks. The four legs are truncated pyramidal in shape and end with bronze shoes. Origin: France, 19th century. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using traditional methods with handmade shellac and alcohol. Dimensions: Diameter 65cm. Height 78cm.
