The upper part is fitted with two doors incorporating a fine metal mesh instead of glass, a detail that reinforces both its authenticity and its utilitarian origins. The lower section has two solid paneled doors. The cabinet is topped with a carved wooden sign reading “Reder Mor”, a Breton expression meaning “Runner of the Seas”, giving this piece a distinctive regional identity and decorative impact.

Inside, the cabinet retains its original wooden shelves, making it ideal as a display cabinet, bookcase, kitchen cupboard, or statement storage piece.

The piece has been professionally treated against wood-boring insects (xylophages). It is now sound, stable, and ready for everyday use.
