In Japan he is also linked to prosperity and is believed to bring positive energy to a home or business.

Carved from a single piece of wood, the sculpture stands out for the quality of its workmanship: the expressive face, the soft folds of the robe, and the rounded volumes are shaped with great sensitivity.
