This Art Deco sculpture was produced in Italy and more precisely in Milan, by Guido Cacciapuoti in the 1930s.
The base is in ebonized wood and the sculpture, a typical Art Deco stylized woman profile face, is in in red porcelain stoneware.
On the bottom of the woman's face there is the engraved signature 'G. Cacciapuoti' and under the base there is the label 'Made in Italy, G. Cacciapuoti, Ceramics and Porcelain stoneware arts'. (translation of the label from Italian).
It is in perfect conditions. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
