The table has a clear brutalist character and, despite the use of hard materials, conveys a sense of calm and warmth, with a strong accent of orange-red glass set into the top. The tabletop is composed of natural stone, ceramic, glass and brass, in various tones inlaid in concrete. The composition reflects kingma’s characteristic interplay of texture and colour, where abstraction and craftsmanship reinforce one another. The metal base provides a solid, understated foundation that allows the tabletop to come fully into its own. Dimensions: 120 × 76 × 34 cm / 47.2 × 29.9 × 13.4 in (w×d×h). Signed: kingma – 1973 (see photos). The condition of this coffee table is very good, with light signs of use consistent with its age.
