The child has naturalistic infantile proportions with a tilted head, large eyes, and a frontal gaze, and rests on a gilded and carved wooden base. The arms are raised and open with hands in a blessing and welcoming gesture, so that the anatomical rendering is simplified but attentive to the main volumes. The skin tone is treated with pinkish chromatic modulations concentrated on the face, chest, and knees. The long, wavy hair is original to the period. Condition: Excellent condition.
