Neapolitan Louis Philippe mirror from the first half of the 19th century, entirely sculpted, carved, and gilded with gold leaf. The mirror presents a rich, upward-flowing composition that showcases the exceptional refinement of its carving. The crest is adorned with a sequence of Rocaille scrolls, while two feet featuring matching Rocaille motifs further enhance the elegance and sophistication of this striking piece. The mirror plate is original mercury glass, contemporary with the gilded wooden frame.
Provenance: Naples (circa 1840–1850).
Condition: Excellent condition.
