A dd02 drawer wall unit, created by martin visser and manufactured by ’t spectrum in the 1950s.
it consists of a black lacquered metal frame, mounted on the wall, and two wooden drawers. The exterior part of the drawers has been given a white finish. The placement of the wooden parts, combined with the visible joints, creates an interesting look.
there are multiple configurations of the wall unit. The ’02' in ‘dd02’ represents the number of drawers. Another configuration is the ‘dd01’, with only one drawer.
the drawer unit remains in very good condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
