Description:
Up for sale is a magnificent blue sapphire and diamond platinum ring.
This special ring features a gem quality blue sapphire with a mixed diamond halo around it.
As you can see, this sapphire exhibits one of the best blue colors which is (in the trade) considered "open" and "lively" and on the range of cornflower blue.
These sapphires are the classics on the trade yet they are rare in such sizes and fine quality.
We took the sapphire out and weighed it (4.26 carat) then sent to GIA for certification.
GIA identified this sapphire as a Ceylon origin blue sapphire with heat only.
The combination of quality and size in this sapphire make it a fine center piece and a great investment gemstone.
The sapphire is set in the center of a mixed cut diamond halo, the diamonds are also fine quality and full of life plus the ring has a big show.
The ring was made in platinum and it is presented in very good condition along with the original and very recent GIA certificate...fresh out of the GIA! See less
