Authentic Mid-Century Modern Heywood-Wakefield "Step" Side Table, designed in the 1950s. This architectural piece features the iconic splayed "dog-leg" legs and tiered surfaces that defined the era's American modernism.
Unlike the common Wheat or Champagne finishes, this example is factory-stamped "HAVANA," a deeper, sophisticated walnut-toned stain that was produced for a limited run.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The table retains its original, un-refinished nitrocellulose lacquer finish. It is structurally rock-solid with no wobbles. Wear is consistent with age and light use, primarily visible as minor scuffing to the feet and legs, adding to its authentic mid-century character.
