This sofa is of high quality and possibly produced by Kittinger Furniture or other high end furniture company specializing in fine upholstered and carved colonial reproductions of formal furniture of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. This piece is in its original condition and does have a few minor wears to its upholstery. There is minor scuff marks to the legs which could be removed with a good polishing. You can see in the pictures the minor wear on the arm and top back of the sofa. The pictures actually mark it look worse than it actually is. The one-piece cushion is down filled and in excellent shape. A light cleaning of the upholstery would give this sofa new life. It is actually though, good to use the way it is. The striped fabric is prefect for this style and time period represented. This piece would embellish any formal room. See less
