Fabulous monumental vintage carved wood horse featuring a gracefully arched neck, dramatic curled tail, and raised hoof. At nearly 5' tall, this is a statement piece. Hand-carved with a distressed painted finish, the figure is mounted on a substantial rectangular plinth and has strong sculptural presence from all angles. The sculpture has a stylized form that could be reminiscent of Asian horses.
