Made entirely of brass with a clear glass top. The elegant and refined design is characterized by a sculpted tubular brass frame with decorative heron-shaped details. The herons, symbols of grace and balance, support the glass top, creating a light and sophisticated suspended effect. The table also features a central shelf with decorative ring elements, perfect for holding magazines or small objects. The sinuous shapes and reference to nature are typical of mid-century Italian decorative design, between Art Deco and Modernism. The table is often attributed to the taste and influence of designers such as Maison Jansen or similar Italian studios of the 1950s, who combined wrought metal with animal and natural motifs, although it is not signed.
