Seven short stories written by Julian L. Shapiro before he changed his name to John Sanford. He and Nathaniel West took time off to write together in the summer of 1931 near the town of Warrensburg, New York in the Adirondack Mountains. First edition, limited to 100 numbered copies. This one is out of sequence, marked "h". SIGNED by Sanford on the colophon at the end of the book where an original black & white photograph of Sanford and West is attached to the opposite page. This photo is inscribed by Sanford "Pep West and John Sanford , Warrensburg, NY, Summer of 13."
