Bound in full royal blue gilt crushed morocco. Spine has five raised bands with gilt title and borders. Gilt decoration on turn-ins. All edges gilt. Fine marbled endpapers.

Goodbye, Mr. Chips is a novella about the life of a schoolteacher, Mr. Chipping, written by British-American writer James Hilton and first published by Hodder & Stoughton in October 1934. It has been adapted into two feature films and two television presentations.
