Vintage restored teak and oak oval extension dining table with two leaves by Danish architects Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielsen. The table was produced by Bodafors of Sweden in the early 1960s and imported to the US by Moreddi.
The teak dining surface rests atop a set of four tapered oak legs, creating a contrast in grain pattern and color that draws attention to the table's absence of a continuous apron. This innovation maximizes knee clearance and allows for almost any armchair to tuck underneath.
With the two included leaves it expands to a maximum length of 94 inches, accommodating 8-10 guests as needed.
