They are reinterpretations of paintings and drawings by the Old Masters and of European painters from the 19th and 20th centuries. His works include portraits of his friends and the horses in the valley where he works and lives.

Rubins lives and works in Alp, a small mountain village in the Spanish Pyrenees.

He is classically trained in the techniques of the Old Masters, and yet he has remained the street painter he was at the beginning of his painting career in Barcelona. See less
