Up for sale is an exquisite original 17th century bronze statue of the Bodhisattva Guanyin/ Avalokiteshvara, from the Chinese Ming Dynasty. The statue is a beautiful representation of the Buddha and is crafted with exquisite precision. This lovely bronze has been preserved in its original form and is a perfect addition for collectors of Asian antiques, figurines, and statues. The statue's is cast out of thick bronze and has acquired a lovely patina from age.
It measures 9 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide.
He has a missing thumb, a chip to the top of the headpiece, and a couple repaired cracks on the bottom/back as shown in photos.
