The original bearer of the arms was recorded as Sir Patrick Houston, 5th Baronet (c. 1698–1762), one of the last chieftains of Clan Houston, in the book 'A Roll of Arms Registered by the Committee on Heraldry of the New England Historic Genealogical Society, Parts 1-10', p. 95.
This lovely heraldic piece features a hand painted coat of arms done in vibrant color and has a collector crown stamp at the top.
It features a knights helmet above a crest shield along with inward facing deer on the edge.
It has an our glass finial and an "In Time" banner at the top.
It's in nice condition and set in a modern silver gilt wooden frame.
It measures 23 1/2 inches by 17 1/2 inches framed. See less
