it consists of three elements: a three-seater sofa, a two-seater sofa, and an ottoman.

both the panels and cushions are upholstered in smooth burgundy/aubergine velvet with camel/gold trim. The panels are held together with zippers, a characteristic of the entire duc line. The padded cushion covers are removable.
one leg features a cassina meda sticker.
the sofa is solid and stable, still current, and comes in a very rare and elegant color. There is a small hole in the upholstery on the right side (see photo). Otherwise, it is in excellent condition, with signs of wear consistent with normal use.
the ottoman consists of a base of assembled panels supporting a removable cushion cover. Both the panels and the cushion are padded and upholstered in smooth burgundy/aubergine velvet with camel/gold trim. The panels are held together with zippers, a characteristic of the entire duc line.
the base rests on four adjustable plastic feet.
it comes with a cassina, meda adhesive label.
the ottoman is in very good condition for its age, solid and stable. The padding and upholstery are excellent. The leather trim on the sides of the zippers is very worn (green in the photo), but still functional. It's an excellent support or additional seat, in a rare and elegant color.

the sofa is solid and stable, still contemporary, and comes in a very rare and elegant color. Signs of aging are more evident along the legs, and there are some losses in the fabric (see photo). Otherwise, the sofa is in excellent condition, with signs consistent with normal use.
mario bellini's 1976 duc design is based on the combination of cutting-edge materials and innovative structural technology. The distinctive panel structure assembled with zippers was a revolutionary solution for its time.
note: mario bellini (milan, 1935) is one of the most important italian designers and architects, winner of eight compasso d'oro awards. His works are permanently exhibited at the moma in new york.
