He was appointed by Walter Gropius as a Master at the Bauhaus in Weimar, where he led the stage workshop from 1921 to 1923. Schreyer is best known for his "Kampfbühne" theory and his mystical, almost religious approach to art and theater. His graphic works, particularly his woodcuts from the 1920s, display a unique blend of geometric abstraction and expressionist symbolism.Condition:
