Produced in 1977 by Edition Panderma, Basel, this piece is part of Edition of 230.Getulio Alviani (1939–2018) was a key figure in Italian Kinetic and Programmed Art. He is internationally renowned for his "Superfici a testura vibratile" (vibrating texture surfaces), aluminum surfaces milled to create changing light patterns depending on the viewer's angle. Alviani's work is a fusion of art, design, and industrial precision, rejecting the cult of the artist's hand in favor of objective visual research. He was a close friend of Josef Albers and Max Bill and exhibited at Documenta and the Venice Biennale.Condition:
