This vintage Persian Gabbeh rug features a graphic lion full of character. With a full mouth of teeth, a decorated collar, and a sinuous tail, this lion appears almost mythical. The warm and bright colors of the lion are set against a muted background featuring some areas of abrash, making the red, geometric border on a cream background seem especially stark. The fringe on each end of this rug is still in excellent condition. Although this rug is small, the bright graphics make it an excellent statement piece in an eclectic, bohemian, or modern interior. It would work equally well as an accent rug or a wall hanging. See less
