Classic Elegance and Timeless craftmanship Resulting in This Exquisite Louis XVI Secretary Desk, Crafted in France. This Fine quaulity inlaid marquetry medium sized Louis XVI Secretary desk is in superb original condition. Comes with two original keys.
A timeless distinctive herringbone pattern exudes Parisian luxury and historic French designs. Crafted with solid wood veneer and marquetry and embellished with foliate brass applications to the front corners and legs. Also, comes with original brass handles and various wood grain applications throughtout. One spacious drawer on top and 3 at the bottom. The Middle area has a pull down door with orignal keys and an open compartmen, 1 large drawer and 2 additional small drawers and arched sides. A beautiful and flawless granite top with ogee bull edge design. An exquisite invesment with lasting value.
Please note a few small veneer chips in the upper front of the secretary. Minor wear consistent with age and use.
