this is one of the first plastic chairs manufactured in a single piece from a single material: molded polyamide.

before opening his own design studio, ostergaard worked at finn juhl's studio, where he contributed to the development of several high-quality solid wood chairs. In 1965, he opened his own studio, and a few years later, he designed his first product: the cado 290 chair (1968), which was manufactured by paul cadovius in 1970.

these cado chairs are in good condition, showing some signs of age and use. Original leather upholstery.
