Very rare and beautiful stoneware lamp from palshus denmark, 1950s-60s. In dark olive green.
all relevant signatures are present under the lamp. Including pls (per linneman-schmidt)
it is 30 cm high (38 cm including the socket), 16 cm in diameter at its widest point and weighs approx. 1950 grams.
about plashus:
palshus keramik was founded by per linneman-schmidt and his wife annelise in tåstrup in 1948. The name ‘palshus’ is a combination of their initials and the house where production first began.
unfortunately, palshus closed in 1972, just over two years after annelise linneman-schmidt's death in a car accident. Bjørn wiinblad subsequently took over the workshop.
palshus is very sought after today.
a bulb is included in the purchase (has a standard e26/e27 socket).
this piece has an attribution mark,
i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
