Created between the 1930s and 1950s as a small figurine, it uses the silhouette of a cat in the act of “arching its back” to form a sinuous and functional bottle opener. The space beneath the cat’s belly, between the front and rear legs, provides the perfect place to grip with a finger, while the straight, turned tail serves as the ideal corkscrew. The piece is in good vintage condition. It has been cleaned but retains its natural patina, making it a fun and collectible item. See less
