Gold Shield Set: An elegant set of two lamps, featuring a classic, clean style, crafted by Florentine artisans. The entirely wooden pedestal is carefully decorated and hand-carved with floral motifs, curved towards the center to give the figure a softness. It is covered in gold leaf; a very thin sheet of gold, usually 22 carats, with various types of gold or imitation gold alloys used to decorate the surfaces (gilding). The cream-colored shade with darker shades is meticulously detailed, square with distinct woven gold trim along the edges. It resembles the shape of a shield. Dimensions: Height: 41 cm – Width: 21 cm
