This really is a Great Looking Antique American Fireside Stool - Foot Stool. Circa Late 19th Century. It is Completely Hand Made out of Solid Hardwood - Possibly Alder or Beech.
It has Allover Faux Mahogany ? Rosewood Grain Painted Surfaces. It also has Gold Painted Striping - Decoration around the Perimeter of the Seat - Top as well as on the Legs Mid sections. The Top has a Beautiful Hand Painted Floral Decoration. Note! ( Absolutely Original ) That it has 2 Different Style - Shape Legs so it Displays Differently from each side. I purchased this piece on on of my recent Picking Adventures in the Pennsylvania Lancaster Valley - Amish Region. It is in Very Good Cosmetic and Strong - Sound Functional Condition. Displays Beautifully.
It Measures 9 3/4 inches Tall x 16 inches Long x 9 inches Wide.
