The tea warmers are constructed with cylindrical vented jackets designed to hold a removable inner bowl, allowing tea to be kept warm over a spirit burner without direct heat. Each warmer retains traces of original black toleware finish with hand-stenciled decoration, reflecting early American tea service traditions.
