I loved Oriental furnishings because … Read more This corner setee was purchased in 1988 from a local import store called Brassy Decor. I loved Oriental furnishings because they were so ornate and unique. The owner Charles Park bought most of the furnishings from Singapore. I am not certain of the wood type. I had a local woodsmith look at it and he wasn't sure, possibly rosewood. The pieces are very heavy if that helps determine wood type. There aren't any scratches, dents, water marks or wear marks on the pieces. It wasn't used. It was just a set to admire. I have enjoyed it for 37 years and would like to find a lovely home for it. My wish is that you will admire and enjoy it as well. See less
