Late 19th-century Swedish pine sideboard buffet in the Gustavian style, featuring a three-drawer over three-door configuration. Traditional Swedish diamond motifs are carved across the front panels, with simple fluted columns flanking the cabinet doors. The piece rests on fluted tapered feet, reinforcing the classic Swedish profile.
A newer professionally applied antique white painted finish with soft gray undertones has been lightly distressed throughout to suit the age and graceful character of the buffet. Age-related cracks are visible along the top, with additional minor cracking on the sides. Minor scratches and surface wear reflect years of use.
Two keys for the upper drawers and two keys for the lower cabinet doors are included. The old locks still function, though the buyer may choose to use the keys as pulls for ease of use. Restored, strong, stable, and ready for use as a buffet, sideboard, or storage cabinet.
