Liminal lingers in the in-between, where a form is neither fully opening nor fully fading, but suspended at the threshold. A single bloom becomes a small theatre of transformation: radiance pressing forward, shadow receding, and the seam between them held in perfect tension. The image invites a slower gaze, letting the eye travel across soft edges and torn contours, as if watching time change its mind. Captured in black-and-white film and rendered as an archival pigment print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta, the work is offered in two editions: 100 × 100 cm (edition of 10) and 32 × 32 cm (edition of 15). The baryta surface deepens the blacks while preserving a luminous, velvety gradation through the mid-tones, allowing the tonal transition, the piece’s core subject, to remain tactile and precise.
