This is an absolutely gorgeous Alfred Klingenberg Charles Dwenger Limoges Bowl (AK CD Limoges) serving bowl from between 1900 and 1909. The bowl looks brand new with no signs of wear or damage. The bowl is white with a pale blue outer band, hand painted flowers, and raised porcelain details painted gold everywhere. The rim is shaped and gold painted without a single chip or crack in it-which is kind of amazing given it’s age. It is decorated with hand painted purple and yellow flowers (not all flowers are hand painted or have hand painted details) and it is marked as shown.
The serving bowl measures 8 5/8 inches across the rim and it is 2.00 inches tall. The bowl is about 1.75 inches deep.
Again, this bowl is over one hundred years old.
The bowl has no chips, cracks, crazing, gold loss or any other kind of damage. The colors are lovely, the details are still wonderful and this is a bowl to cherish.
