Subject and Style: The brooch is a classic example of Victorian-style craftsmanship: it features a refined openwork metal frame with scroll and curlicues, surrounding a large faceted center stone. The oval-shaped stone has a deep Topaz/Amber color, capturing the light with warm, intense reflections.
