Elegant antique English Regency table featuring a richly lacquered black surface with hand-decorated floral and foliate motifs accented by gilt scrollwork. The shaped top displays a finely detailed central bouquet framed by an ornate gilt border, all set against a deep black ground with age-appropriate craquelure consistent with early 19th-century lacquer work.
The table is supported by four slender turned legs joined by a decorative stretcher with a central finial, retaining its original black finish with subtle gilt banding. The overall form reflects classic Regency proportions and decorative restraint while still offering strong visual presence.
A period paper label from Antiques for Interiors, Portland, Oregon, noting “English Regency Table, circa 1820,” is affixed to the underside and has been preserved.
