Impressive pair of 19th century bronze candlesticks executed in the Gothic Revival style, likely of French or Northern European origin.
These sculptural candlesticks feature an architectural vertical form with openwork tripodal bases, pointed Gothic elements, and richly detailed foliate decoration.
A particularly striking feature is the central hexagonal section adorned with relief medallions depicting a coiled serpent or dragon motif, a symbolic element often found in ecclesiastical metalwork of the period.
The wide drip pans with serrated edges and the overall monumental presence strongly suggest church or chapel use.
A rare and decorative pair, ideal for collectors of Gothic Revival, ecclesiastical antiques, or architectural bronze objects.
