I am selling this black glazed ceramic carafe signed by Jean Marais.
Very good condition.
[ by Art Angelux] Actor, director, writer, painter, sculptor, and ceramicist in Vallauris.
Jean Marais is one of those great artists who have more than one string to their bow (art).
Director, writer, and painter, while he is famous as a film actor (Beauty and the Beast, Orpheus, Fantômas…), he is also known for his remarkable talent as a ceramic sculptor.
This piece has an attribution mark,
