Its generous dimensions and rich decoration make it a striking piece of furniture.
Distinguishing Features

Style: Late Baroque/Louis XV, characterized by the graceful curves, rocailles, scrolls, and naturalistic elements typical of Piedmontese craftsmanship of the period.

Material and Workmanship:

Carved Wood Frame: It features rich, deep carvings with acanthus leaf motifs, scrolls, and delicate floral festoons (as beautifully seen on the sides and top). The carving is of high quality and striking.

Gold Leaf Gilding: The original gilding is gold leaf, with a beautiful antique patina that attests to the authenticity and age of the piece.

Ceramic Top and Details: The mirror is topped by an imposing, perforated cornice with scrolls and openwork scrolls, centered on plant motifs. The base is also enriched with a carved central element and curved feet, lending it great stability and a harmonious composition.
